The Rivers are Alive with Salmon!

The Kings are in both the Naknek and Nushagak Rivers.  Alex and Josh state it’s the best they’ve seen in years.  One angler reported bringing 21 Kings to the net yesterday.  Incredible!  Sockeyes are running the Naknek, Kvichak, Egegik and Ugashik systems and we have had great days at each thus far. The King Salmon are in the Naknek and Nushagak Rivers, the Sockeye Salmon have been streaming by our dock on the Naknek River and the Rainbow Trout have been feeding aggressively on the salmon smolt running downstream.  Even after so many years of witnessing it I am constantly amazed by the sight of it all….
